Isaiah Manuel James

Hi! My name is Isaiah James, and I’m a Cyber Operations student at the University of Arizona. Before coming to the U of A, I attended Cochise College, where I spent my first two years of college. Transferring to the U of A was a big step for me, but it was something I was really excited about. I wanted to experience a four-year university, meet new people, get involved on campus, and continue working toward my goals. I chose Cyber Operations because I’ve always been interested in technology and cybersecurity and how everything works behind the scenes. My goal is to eventually become a cybersecurity lawyer, which would allow me to combine my interest in technology with law.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and getting involved in different activities. Since I’ve gone through the transfer process myself, I know it can be a little overwhelming at first. I’m excited to be a mentor and help make that transition easier for someone else. Whether you have questions about classes, getting involved, meeting people, or just getting used to life at the U of A, I’m happy to help. I’m looking forward to meeting my mentee and hopefully helping them have a great experience at the U of A!
